Orenda Sherman is just about to turn 30 years old when she finds her life turned upside down.  Working in a hospital isn't easy especially when a strange scent leads her to people who are dying. Her best friend Janel insists on taking her away for a weekend to Atlantic City NJ. As soon as she steps into her hotel she encounters the now terrifying scent of death and two incredibly sexy vampires. Cheve is Orenda's Sensay trainer. He is a Spirit Walker. He has vowed to teach her everything he knows in order for her to fullfill her destiny. Some of his training is un-orthodox to say the least.

Roberto Valente owns the Platza del la Viva Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City NJ. Roberto was born in Crecchio Italy in the year 1532. He is a shrewd business man and is not one to play games...at least until he met Orenda.

Alexander Sandstrom owns The Scandanavian Hotel in Atlatic City NJ. He was born in Sweden in 1834 and is quite a history buff having served in WWI and WWII. Alex as he likes to be called, is more likely to be on the beach doing some night surfing than in the boardroom. Now the bedroom on the other hand is where he is always trying to get Orenda.

Annika Sandstrom is Alex's twin sister. Mystery surrounds her disappearance.

Not too much is known about Leeds. He lives a solitary life in the Pine Barrens of NJ. He's been seen around several towns in the Southern Jersey area but only during the day, sometimes humming the theme song from Benny Hill and carrying a cricket bat. Most people steer clear of him.

Roberto's younger brother. He lives in Italy and seems to have a chip on his shoulder. And for some reason he doesn't like Orenda.
