I hope everyone's New Year is off to a fantastic start. I'm excited over a few things. First of course my release of Touch of a Vampire. The kindle version is for sale on Amazon and the paperback should be out in the beginning of February. Happy New Year! I hope that everyone has had a great start to 2010. I've been busy and happy. Touch of a Vampire has completed it's final edits and should be up for sale on Amazon in the next week or so. I've begun Leeds' story and let me tell you I just love this character. He is so different from anyone I've ever written. I've been inpsired by some great music while writing including The great Rolling Stones tune Sympathy for the Devil and because Leeds is all about the great state of New Jersey I wouldn't be able to write this without a bit of The Boss. Bruce Springsteen. While you're here check out the page for The Evolved. I've added some new character pics. I want to wish all of my family and friends and everyone who's stopped by this site especially my fans, Karen and Tone a happy holiday season. In whatever way you celebrate I wish you love and peace. One of my favorite songs is John Lennon's Imagine and a verse from that song that never fails to give me chills is "You may say that I'm a dreamer. Well, I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us and the world will live as one." What a beautiful thought and one I carry with me as this year nears it end and another begins.

As I previously mentioned, Touch of a Vampire is complete. I've finished edits and it's in the hands of my wonderful editor. I've been told that it should be out in e-book in January. I'm very excited about the book. It really explains a lot about the world of the evolved. I was going to take a break on writing until after the holidays but found myself starting Leeds' book last night...lol It just feels strange when you wrap up a book not to be writing. I'm going to work on my website. I hope to add some more pictures. This time of the other characters like Janel and Mark and Andy. And of course the hot hot hot Cheve who you will meet in Touch. I'm also going to start working on a book trailer for Touch and am hoping to have it done by the time the book comes out.
I will keep updating to let you guys know when I get a release date.

I just got finished with Touch of a Vampire. Tomorrow I start edits. I'm really excited about this book. I love it. You'll get to see Olivia grow into a strong woman to be reckoned with. Not to mention that you will find out who she ends up with. I so hope that you will enjoy it. I will keep everyone upsated on a release date.

I have been crazy busy lately. For those of you who may not know, I've been working with a screenwriter to adapt Scent of a Vampire into a screenplay. Now before you get all excited, there is no movie deal or anything like that. We are hoping that we get lucky. Trying to adapt your book into a screenplay is not easy. I found that there is a lot of interpetation that goes into a screenplay. Plus having written Scent in Orenda's point of view makes it more difficult. I've been doing some re-writes with Mike (that's my screnwriter) so I've fallen behind on working on Touch of a Vampire. I feel bad and want to make it up to the few fans that I have. I'm looking at you Karen and Tone...lol
So I'm going to post the first few pages of Touch for you to preview. Just click on the preview tab. I hope you enjoy!

To everyone who has written to me about my book Scent of a Vampire and inquiring about the sequel I want to thank you. You guys are why I write. This post is especially for Karen and Tone you guys are the best fans a writer can have. The sequel is almost finished. I expect to have it in my publishers hands before the end of November. This second book has had a lot of research involved as I expanded the world of the evovled. You will learn about Olivia's past and see her grow into her new found abilities. You'll meet some new characters and revisit with some old friends. My one hope is that you will enjoy it as much as the first one. After this I plan on working on Leeds story because I promised my friend Sarah. And Tone thank you for making me an "international" author!

Everyone these days seems to have a blog. I can't imagine that anyone wants to hear what I'm thinking outside of the stories that I write. But anyhoo I've heard that as an author you should have a blog so here it is. I guess that for my first entry I would like to thank you for coming to my website in the first place. And if you've read my book or my short stories I do sincerely thank you. As with every writier, these stories and characters are dear to my heart. I love to write and hitting it big is not as important to me as connecting with a reader. I would rather see an email from a reader than a #1 amazon ranking. My family will tell you that everytime I get an email or someone signing my guestbook I get tears in my eyes. That may not be cool but that's the way it is. You will find that I'm sincere and will not make myself into something I'm not just to sell books. I hope that my honesty shines through to my stories.
