Crazy busy 11/17/2009
 
I have been crazy busy lately. For those of you who may not know, I've been working with a screenwriter to adapt Scent of a Vampire into a screenplay. Now before you get all excited, there is no movie deal or anything like that. We are hoping that we get lucky. Trying to adapt your book into a screenplay is not easy. I found that there is a lot of interpetation that goes into a screenplay. Plus having written Scent in Orenda's point of view makes it more difficult. I've been doing some re-writes with Mike (that's my screnwriter) so I've fallen behind on working on Touch of a Vampire. I feel bad and want to make it up to the few fans that I have. I'm looking at you Karen and Tone...lol
So I'm going to post the first few pages of Touch for you to preview. Just click on the preview tab. I hope you enjoy!

OMG! When I seen that you left a preview of Touch...I screamed to the top of my lungs! lol....I am even more excited then I was before to read this book...if thats even possible..LOL! I love the fact that Alex was right in the beginning! I love Roberto but I also love Alex and to see that he still loves Olivia....so much...was pulling at my heart strings! Just from that little bit...I can already tell that you are going to have another TOP SELLER on your hands! Way to go Jude!

I really really hope we will see your book come to live on the big screen. I often like the book better, but it's like meeting a long time pen-friend face to face. Some things are not what you imagined, maybe they have some nasty habbits you didn't know about, but after some thought - you like them even better! And I think that will be the case with your book :) Some of the characters are not like the ones in our head, but after a little while, we love them even more. And I am so happy that I just dicovered your fantastic ability to write books. I don't have to wait that long for the next book :) Can't wait to read Touch of a Vampire. And by the way, I have told my friends about your book, and they absolutely LOVE it. I knew they would :) (Again - sorry about my poor english!!)

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all of your kind comments. I don't know if anything will ever come from the screenplay but the opportunity presented itself (at no cost to me) so I thought what the heck.I can't thank you enough for recommending my book to friends. That is the highest compliment a writer can receive. And to Tone, don't worry your English is as always great. I'm so glad you all like liked the preview of Touch. It's a book full of surprises. All I will say is not everything is as it seems... :)
