I love this time of the year. So many fun things to do. Tonight we went to a flashlight corn maze. We made pretty good time. 40 minutes from start to finish. Maybe we could have done better but I had a few glasses of wine with my dinner. One piece of advice...go to the bathroom BEFORE entering the maze.
The moon tonight was absolutely gorgeous....made for lovers....and vampires!

Only a few more weeks until I get to visit my favorite city New Orleans! I can hardly wait to see my friends and visit Cafe Du Monde. This year I have several things on my agenda that I didn't get to do last year including a graveyard tour, dinner cruise on a riverboat, watching the Halloween parade and going to the dungeon. I will definitely not fit in with the dungeon crowd even with my new pair of kick ass boots but it's still something I want to see. Maybe I'll get that tattoo I've always wanted before going to NOLA. Not even that will help me fit in with the dungeon crowd....lol But life is too short not to try new things and open yourself up to new experiences. People have to learn to let themselves be happy. I'm not much in to quotes but I always liked Joseph Campbells quote:
We must let go of the life we had planned, so as to accept the one waiting for us.

I can't believe that it's that time of the year again to start thinking about my favorite time of the year. Halloween!!

Not only is it an awesome NOLA time but I'm anxious to see friends that I made there last year. Including Sue Quiroz, the organizer of the ball.
It's been quite a year for me so I am so looking forward to breakfast at Cafe Du Monde, lunch at The Acme Oyster House and a hurricane (or two) at Pat O'Briens!
And this year I plan on getting many more beads!!!  You only live once...might as well have some fun!

I know it's been a long time since I blogged on here. I've been bad. I promise that I will get on here more often and just leave my thoughts...(yes I do have some from time to time)  I just always think who wants to hear what I'm thinking?
For those who like my evolved series I promise also that I have been working on the next book, Taste of a Vampire. It will be back to Wren's story and her relationship with Alex.
Some of you may know that I've opened my own publishing company, No Boundaries Publishing. I enjoy working with authors and reading their stories and helping them see their dream come true. It's very rewarding. The hardest part of it all is having to reject something. I always invite the author to make revisions and re-submit their story.

OMG! I can't believe how long it's been since I blogged here. I really, really suck at this! lol All I can say in my defense is that I've had some major life changes. Nothing that I didn't choose but all the same it's not been easy but change seldom is. Even positive change is hard to deal with. I just hope what few fans I have haven't forgotten me and my world of the Evolved while I've been wallowing. I may not have as many fans as Charlaine Harris or JR Ward but no one can tell me that I don't have the best fans in the world. They have supported me and encouraged me.
And I so hope the wait is worth is for you guys when Leeds' story finally comes out. This one is for you guys!

I want to wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year! 2011 is going to be a great year! I can't wait to see where my characters lead me.
